June Celebration
One of our participants, Thresa, was a Dove Award Finalist from National Christian Women’s Job Corps. The Sybil Bentley Dove award is given each year to a woman who embodies the spirit and hope of Christian Women’s Job Corps. Thresa’s mentor recommended her for the award because of the progress she has made this year. We were excited to celebrate this achievement with her!
In July we celebrated Bevan’s graduation. During her time with us, she has deepened her relationship with Christ and received two jobs! Great Job Bevan! We presented her with a certificate of completion and a Bible.
We also celebrated Brandy.
She now has her own place
with her two children. She
received a spa treatment
from Nail Spa in preparation
for her job interviews!
